Once again this summer, Düsseldorf and Cologne will host a wide range of events.
An Overwiew:
France Festival and Cologne Lights
From July 3 to 5, the France Festival will take place in the state capital, featuring music, culture, and culinary delights. The festival will be held in the Old Town and along the Rhine promenade.
The popular "Kölner Lichter" event takes place in Cologne on August 1. The spectacular fireworks display, set off from boats on the water, lights up the evening sky between the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Bastei.
Trade Shows in August and September
And the trade show scene doesn’t take a break in the summer either. The “Caravan Salon” trade show will be held in Düsseldorf from August 28 to September 6. It will feature motorhomes, campervans, and much more for mobile leisure.
gamescom, the world’s largest trade fair and event for interactive games and entertainment, opens at Koelnmesse on August 28. This will be followed in September by DMEXCO, Europe’s leading digital marketing and tech event.
