In September and October, two well attended events will open their doors in Düsseldorf and Essen. The trade fair “expopharm” and the public fair “Spiel”, featuring board games.

expopharm from 27 September

expopharm, which opens in the state capital on September 27, is Europe's leading trade fair and industry meeting place for the pharmacy market. The German Pharmacists' Day will be held parallel to it.

On an exhibition area of 23,000 square meters the most important novelties of the pharmacy market are presented to the specialized public. A lecture program with around 200 speakers and a series of workshops round off the event.

At the German Pharmacists' Day, health policy makers and professional associations will discuss, among other things, the legal framework conditions for the pharmacy market and the professional profile of pharmacists. At the opening of the event, Federal Health Minister Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach will be joined by video for a welcoming address and subsequent discussion with delegates at the General Meeting of Pharmacists.

Spiel trade fair from October 5 in Essen

Spiel in Essen is the world's largest public fair for board games. For four days, from October 5 to 8, it brings game fans together with national and international exhibitors from over 50 countries. On an area of 50,000 square meters, thousands of new releases, which will be shown and also sold in Essen for the first time, await the public. Last year, 147,000 visitors from over 100 nations and 980 exhibitors were counted. Once again, a highlight of the event is the presentation of the German Games Award for family and adult games as well as for children's games.
